Sara Gilbert is a well-known American actress who has appeared in numerous films and TV series throughout her long career. Sara Gilbert also co-hosts and co-created popular daytime talk show The Talk. She first made a name for herself in the TV series Roseanne playing the role of Darlene Conner-Healy. This role brought both of her Primetime Emmy Award nominations. Other memorable TV roles include Leslie Winkle, a role in the show The Big Bang Theory. She's appeared in films like Poison Ivy The Big Tease, as well as Light It Up. In addition to being an actress, she's experimented with direction as well as writing scripts. When she realized that she was gay, Gilbertchose not to talk about her personal life in public. Prior to recognizing she was gay, Gilbert had a affair with her co-star in the show, actor Johnny Galecki. After their relationship ended, she began dating Allison Adler. Just before launching her talk show, Sara Gilbert publicly came out. Between 2014 and 2019, she got married with singer-songwriter Linda Perry.
